One of the highlights of a university biology course was the monthly feeding of a caged rattlesnake. As the entire class gathered around the cage and watched as the feeding took place in complete silence, the instructor said "I’m jealous of the snake, because I never get the undivided attention of all my students like this." "You certainly would get it," said one student, "if you could swallow a mouse."
